Yield, Flower Quality, and Photo-Physiological Responses of Cut Rose Flowers Grafted onto Three Different Rootstocks in Summer Season

چکیده

The thermal stress caused by high temperatures on cut rose flowers grown in greenhouses is a major environmental impact that reduces the yield of growing during summer. To confirm resistance grafted to high-temperature stress, roses were greenhouse summer season and analyzed for yield, quality, root activity, photo-physiological characteristics. A morphological change was observed stomata flowers, which larger size than scion or rootstocks. As result cultivating lowering temperature through shading summer, it confirmed all scions, rootstocks, not stressed state observing maximal quantum primary photochemistry (FV/FM) values chlorophyll-a fluorescence. However, rate electron transport flux from acceptor (QA) secondary (QB) per photosystem II reaction center (ET0/RC) value found be significantly higher compared with scions. efficiencies photosynthesis rate, transpiration stomatal conductance increased when non-grafted. When activity formazan content, improved grafting. Furthermore, grafted, changes such as flower number petals spray also observed. Although there difference depending type rootstock, 11–20%, rose. Therefore, grafting cultivation an effective method terms response yield.

Expression of Genes Encoding Protein Kinases During Flower Opening in Two Cut Rose Cultivars with Different Longevity

Ethylene plays an important role in wide-ranging aspects of plant growth and development, includingfruit ripening, leaf and flower senescence. In this study, the expression patterns of two genes involved in theethylene signal transduction pathway (RhCTR1 and RhCTR2) were investigated during the flower openingstages in two Rosa hybrida cultivars, ‘Black magic’ and ‘Maroussia’, ...
